Fantastische ervaring: I've had a really positive experience with Declan Murphy at Brussels Chiropractic Clinic. I went in with two issues, and one of them was significantly resolved in just over two weeks, which I was really happy with. Declan is very knowledgeable and takes the time to clearly explain and understand what needs doing and why, which made the whole process feel reassuring and transparent. I also found the acupuncture treatment really helpful. The clinic has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist was warm and helpful, and booking appointments was very simple and hassle-free. The clinic itself is lovely and well located, which makes it even easier. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with back pain or looking for a professional and supportive chiropractic experience.

Negatieve ervaring: I agree with the other review commenting on the suspicious amount five star reviews, however I am adding a second star for the receptionists' kindness and professionalism. That was the only positive experience. As for the actual service, it seems to be a case of making a quick buck from people working in EU institutions (which I do not) in the shortest time possible. I stopped going after two sessions as there was zero improvement and little interest in actually addressing my back problems

Fantastische ervaring: Dr. Picard is a life saver! My husband and I were in Europe for the past month. I suffered a pinched nerve that was ruining the vacation. I saw Dr. Picard for several sessions and he was able to relieve the pain 70% in the short time I saw him. He was extremely thorough, attentive and so friendly. Making an apppointment online was super easy, everyone spoke English and payment by card was convenient. I highly recommend his services if you are on vacation and definitely if you live in Brussels!! I'm sorry I won't have him in the states! He even treated my husband a couple sessions for some vertigo he was experiencing, just to make sure his alignment was okay. Thank you so much, Dr. Picard!

Negatieve ervaring: I saw Declan Murphy cause I have problems with hernia on my lower back, I was in the middle of a crisis, with a lot of lower back pain and decided to see him and see what he recommended, worst choice, he made sudden maneuvers to unlock me which made my condition worse and caused the pain that was only in my lower back to radiate to my leg and calf. I met him once again and reported this evolution of the pain, He did the maneuvers to unlock it once again and didn't give me many explanations as to why the pain had increased and radiated. I decided to consult a neurosurgeon, who told me directly that in an acute hernia crisis, sudden maneuvers should never be performed. He recommended physiotherapy and some medications for this acute phase of pain. Declan is a very kind and polite person and I don’t doubt his professionalism, but I don’t know if he’s able to deal with a lower back hernia situation.

Just four sessions and the difference was incredible. He’s skilled, kind, and really listens. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with similar issues.

Negatieve ervaring: I am writing this review from the hospital. I would advise against visiting this Chiropractor. As a sports enthusiast and with no prior injuries or direct problems, I visited this chiropractor for consultation on general fitness recovery, maintenance and wellbeing. I was inspected and nothing was diagnosed as problematic and yet Mr Murphy proceeded with a neck adjustment. I returned to his office a couple of days later due to growing pain, but no solution was suggested. Pain killers and inflammation medication are not helping. After a week of sleepless nights, severe, constant pain day and night, after two visits to the urgencies in the middle of the night, after visiting another chiropractor, three doctors - I have been admitted into Delta hospital for 3 night days where I received morphine and undergone scans and IRM. The pain is indescribable, exhausting and excruciating. Pain has spread. My training program and fitness progress has gone down the drain. This will be a long recovery. Update: I have been diagnosed with two herniated disks in the neck. Further scans and IRM have been prescribed with another visit with neurosurgeon soon. After four weeks since the incident, I am still on pain and anti-inflammation medication.

I was suffering from pain in the neck, legs and lower back, and after the third treatment session, I felt a great change and the pain is gone. Yes, if the person wants to improve more and more, the treatment sessions must continue.

No doctor seemed able to identify the problem, and I was getting desperate as the pain got more intense after any physical activity. Physiotherapy did not help either, nor did stretching or pilates classes. Then I consulted Dr Murphy who seemed to get the diagnosis right from the start. I have now had three sessions with him and the leg pain is gone. Dr Murphy is certainly highly knowledgeable of the human anatomy, and this is very reassuring to a person like myself who has been waiting for an accurate diagnosis for several years. Dr Murphy masters a range of techniques, including acupuncture and massage, and this reinforces the impression I have of him as someone who is able to treat a human being as a whole and not just concentrate on bits and pieces of a body - we are not cars consisting of spare parts, after all, but rather an interconnected organism of high complexity. I have done months of physio and tried every conceivable form of treatment (including chiropractice) but to no avail. I have now had four sessions with Declan and I am almost completely pain free. Negatieve ervaring: First session was somewhat useful but very expensive, after that you go see him and you pay +50€ for a massage and 5minutes of treatment even though you should be getting up to triple that amount. Close to no information on how you can improve by yourself, at home. the advice dr murphy gives is unclear and vague seriously consider trying another place to fix your issue or even try using using information of the internet before trying this place
